Otumfuo establishes a four-man IMC to run Asante Kotoko

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the owner of Asante Kotoko, has established a skilled four-man Interim Management Committee (IMC) to handle the club’s business.

According to Opemsuo Radio, the IMC is led by Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua, a chartered accountant who also serves as Kontomponiaferehene.

Former Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah and recently appointed Kotoko head coach Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum have joined the committee. Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, who will serve as administrative manager, rounds out the squad.

The IMC will be in charge of Asante Kotoko until the club’s administration is rebuilt.

This move follows Otumfuo’s recent dissolution of the Asante Kotoko board and management members, whose three-year term expired earlier this month.
